What does the MOT test include?
The MOT examines essential components of your vehicle to ensure they are in compliance with important legal requirements at time of the test.
The vehicle’s body and structure

The brakes

The wheels and tyres
Their state of condition and security, size the tread depth and type. Tyres that are spared are not examined.
The registration plates

Where can you go to take an MOT test
There are approximately 19,000 garages licensed as MOT test stations across the United States which can conduct the MOT test. The three-triangle logo in blue is displayed to indicate authorized test centers. The cost for the test has to be clearly displayed on a display inside each test facility. However, the test center may charge less than the amount that appears on the poster should they wish to.
What tests are conducted on vehicles
